Let's talk about the 1a-4c hair scale. Created in the 90's by Andre Walker as a marketing tool for his haircare line it has since been adopted amongst most hair brands to categorize textured hair. It's my belief that the scale promotes texturism amongst other things and there's no scientific basis for it. It also doesn't account for factors such as density or porosity, or nuances such as the hair around our perimeter tends to be more looser than the hair at our crown. Which brings me to the question of 1. Do we still need the 1a-4c hair scale?

I don’t think we need this system. I believe we can take some of the language from it, and add in terms like density and porosity.I do like knowing product is formulated for kinky hair bc I’ve used mainstream products and it nearly ended my hair 🤣🙃

How to measure human hair extentions When you purchase a certain length of hair extensions and you're not sure if you were actually given that particular length you paid for, here is how to measure the length of your hair extensions First straighten the hair by laying the hair flat on an ironing board, then iron the hair to straighten it, this is for straight hairs, for wavy or curly hair use a big tooth comb or run your fingers through the hair to separate the curls to stand on their own.Secondly, Use a ruler or a flexible tape measure to get an accurate length measurement. If you have multiple hair extensions pieces, measure each one separately to ensure consistency in length. Thirdly, measure from weft to tip, that is from the top weft(where the hair is sewn together) to the tips of the hair strands. Do not include the clips or other attachments in your measurement. Choose the right measurement unit, hair extentions are typically measured in inches, but you might also come across centimeters, depending on the manufacturers or sellers. By following these steps, you can accurately measure the length of your human hair extentions in no times, this way you will be rest assured you're getting the right length of hair you paid for. I hope this was helpful please like, comment, and share.#humanhair #humanhairwigs #measurement #tapes #hairextensions

How Often Should You Get a Haircut? 👍Here’s A Good Rule of ThumbMost people don’t know that getting regular and frequent haircuts can help promote healthy hair growth by getting rid of your split ends.”Not only are haircuts great for minimizing your chances of split ends, but it is also a great form of self-care.” I couldn’t agree more! That’s why I put together this science-backed guide. In just a few minutes, you’ll know every facet of the answer to “How often should you get a haircut?”Many people believe that cutting their hair more often will make it grow faster. In reality, this isn’t the case at all. Your hair will grow half an inch per month on average, regardless of whether you give it a regular trim. All this is to say, there isn’t a concrete sweet spot for every single person out there. What works for you may not be the best for someone else. The best haircut frequency to keep your hair healthy and looking good depends on your hair type and style. Did you know that Brazil is the 4th largest consumer market worldwide (US$ 26.9 billion*)? I have listed some of the common hair care claims by Brazilian brand owners because many of these play to the needs of our own hair care consumers who have diverse hair types and textures: 1.Strengthening is important because some Brazilian hair types are thick and coarse and can be prone to breakage. 2.Moisturising treats the dryness that is often found in curly or coily hair.3.Anti-frizz products help to smooth the hair cuticles and straighten the hair.4.Detangling makes the hair more manageable, prevents breakage and makes the hair easier to style. 5.Adding Shine is an attribute which is very important in Brazil – it makes the hair look healthy and strong. Two of our suppliers, Assessa and Aqia, are based in Brazil and have generated comprehensive ingredients support focusing on the claims listed above. Visit our website for more information.
